Six Nations Tour 2009: Trasferta Inglese per il Vasari Rugby Arezzo
Fervono i preparativi in via dell’acropoli per la trasferta in terra inglese del Vasari Rugby Arezzo.
Mercoledì notte un folto gruppo di rugbisti aretini (circa 30) partirà in direzione Londra per andare a vedere la sfida del 6 nazioni di rugby tra Inghilterra e Italia ( diretta televisiva 7 febbraio 2009 su LA7, alle 15.00 per il prepartita, kick off alle 16.00) nel mitico stadio di Twickenham
Ma la trasferta non sarà solo un’allegra zingarata all’insegna del tifo per gli azzurri ma sarà anche l’occasione per i ragazzi aretini di sfidare in un test mach una squadra inglese.
Il Vasari infatti affronterà venerdì 6 febbraio alle ore 19.30 il S&E Combined London Old Boys (CLOB) squadra locale londinese, fondata da vecchi amici degli aretini.
Chiaramente la sfida avrà il gusto del divertimento e della voglia di stare insieme e sarà un’occasione unica per confrontarsi con una realtà ben più grande di quella aretina.
Quindi FORZA VASARI E FORZA AZZURRI !!!!!!

6 February 2009: S&E CLOBS vs THE ITALIAN AREZZO’s
Sutton & Epsom will be hosting a floodlit match for an Italian touring team on Friday 6th February, prior to the England v Italy international at Twickenham on Sat 7th.
The touring team is Arezzo who play in division 2 of the National League in Italy. They have about 30 players & supporters in their touring party. The UK hosts & opponents are Combined London Old Boys (CLOB) who will be fielding a Vets team for the Fri night match (even though Arezzo are not a Vets !!). There will be several Sutton & Epsom Dodos making an appearance for CLOB Vets.
Touring teams are usually good value on & off the pitch………so please get down to watch the game at 7.30PM, &/or to enjoy a drink in the bar with our Italian guests after the match. If you need any more info, please contact Tony Price at tp@lordprice.com
